Video Sunday: Two for the Price of One!

It's that time again...I couldn't decide which video to post today, so I'll just do both!

First up, be blinded by this combo of colors and pyrotechnics:

Next, get your daily dose of silly with some stop-motion goodness:

Video Sunday: Andrew Bird's one-man orchestra of the imagination

I'll admit - I'm addicted to watching TED Talks. This one in particular is one of my favorites (plus pretty much nothing compares to the genius that is Andrew Bird). Enjoy!

Diana

I finally got my photos developed! They were taken with my Diana F+, and some came out horribly, others unexpectedly, and some, well.....let's just say the way they turned out was due to "human error" (i.e. I forgot to take the lens cap off). Anyways, here are just a couple of my favorites:

Because children are dangerous.

In other news, I just counted and I have 30 pairs of shoes in my dorm room. YEAH!

Video Sunday: Helicopter by Deerhunter

Just for fun, I'll try to post a video I like every Sunday. This song is from the album Halcyon Digest.

How to be Cool

By 'cool' I mean 'warm'.

If you, uh, read my first post, you'll know that I was struggling to find something to wear in this super cold weather. Well, with the help of Kenzie, I have found the solution! And, when you follow these simple steps, you will not only be warm, you will actually be a cooler person. Yeah, you heard me.

**I know this whole warm/cool thing is contradictory, but let the pictures speak for themselves**

Anyways, if you follow these steps, your whole LIFE will improve:

Step one: Keep on whatever you happen to be wearing. This is what I wore today (for you, the silk paisley man shirt is optional).

Step two: put on a nice warm scarf, and maybe a sock.

Heck, wear two socks!

Step three: Bundle up toasty warm in a coat, some gloves, a warm hat, and some red lipstick for extra sexytimes factor.

Step four (don't skip this step lest you risk not becoming as cool as I am): Add some much needed accessories, such as sunglasses, a laptop, and a bag of bread. Prepare to make others jealous.

Cool people are, uh, known for helping their friends. Therefore, I helped my friend Kenzie be cool:

We start here: pretty basic but...needs work. And seriously? You can't wear this in the cold.

Why not add a piece of spicy lingerie? (whether or not you knew this was lingerie when you bought it is not important). And of course, there is an Honor Code to be followed, so top it off with a lovely cardigan-mansweater.

It's still pretty cold outside, so you might want to steal my coat and rain boots. Those babies are IMPERVIOUS to liquid.

As stated before, you're never really cool until you have cool accessories. Two scarves show you are a free spirit, ski poles demonstrate your athleticism (whilst also implying you have a smokin' bod under all those layers), and Honey Bunches of Wheat with almonds? Well, that's just a really good cereal.

So there you have it: the tried-and-true formula for becoming a cooler, more awesome, all-around better homo sapien. Stay tuned for more!
